Our life, while growing up, was often centered around construction of one kind or another. We fondly remember many long discussions sitting around the kitchen table with our family members discussing construction practices and renovation projects. We have the wherewithal which complement the skill sets needed to run a successful construction company. Our strength in construction include high end build-ins and custom renovations, project development and management, house design, home building and general contracting for residential and commercial projects. Combined, our team boasts of over 50 years of working experience in varied trades, and we are dedicated to bringing ‘Attention to Details and Excellence in Quality & Design’ to every project we undertake..

We have a vast knowledge of building structures, aesthetics, models, designs and staging. We also have a complete knowledge of the Ontario Building Code as it applies presently. We bring creative ideas to the construction workbench, how best the finished product would eventually appeal to a potential buyer, if the property were to be put up for sale. Our contracts are specific, to the point and comprehensive. We liaise with the Cities and get the required building permits for you.

Bob and his team at Building Boyz Group did a major main floor renovation in my home this year. A load bearing wall was removed (re-directing all electrical and plumbing), beautiful new tiled floors, a brand new kitchen, sourced through their amazing manufacturer, fireplace re-surfaced with slatted accents, closet organizers, mirrored bevels in the stairwell, touch controlled lighting in all closets and the powder room. In addition, crown moulding, new baseboards and a complete paint job resulted in a transformation that is simply spectacular! In summary, they are professional, their work is high quality, on time and on budget and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This is the third time we have used Building Boyz. The first was a complete reno of our water-flooded basement. The second was reno of two bathrooms. The latest was the upgrade of my main staircase. In 2019 we decided to kick off a long overdue renovation of our house. We met with five contractors, including Bob from Building Boyz who stood out from the others for his knowledge and vision for our space. Our renovation included a full demolition of the main floor, opening up the kitchen, removing a large load bearing wall, replacing the staircase and adding a main floor powder room. After deciding to work with Bob we quickly realized we made the right decision when we visited the showroom and spoke with him and the designer about the layout and our vision. As with most old houses, there were many surprises but Bob anticipated most of them and dealt with them in a professional way. Bob always answered his phone when we called and made himself available to meet in person if we had questions – overall he made this a very smooth process. Even six months after moving home, we are still amazed with the transformation. There is no question that we will be working with Building Boyz again the next time we need a renovation, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
